Hello, I’m Melanie!!
My journey into photography started in 2022 as a hobby. I was simply captivated by the way a camera could capture a moment, telling a story that words alone couldn’t. What began as a personal passion quickly turned into something more, and within just three months, I turned my hobby into a side business. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to share my work with amazing people and grow in this creative field.
In 2023, I was honored to be named Best of Hays County for Photography, an achievement that means the world to me. It’s a reflection of the dedication I pour into each session and the trust that my clients have placed in me. I strive to capture not just pictures, but real moments—whether that’s a family’s love, a couple’s joy, or a special milestone that deserves to be remembered forever.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me working toward my bachelors degree as a full-time student at Texas State University. Balancing school with photography keeps me busy, but I love every minute of it. Outside of academics and photography, I enjoy crafting, cooking, and baking. It’s a great way to unwind and tap into my creativity in different ways. Photography has given me the opportunity to meet so many incredible people and capture memories that last a lifetime. I am so thankful for the experiences I’ve had and the connections I’ve made through this art form.
